Visited our most local Wagamama over the weekend. As it was a Saturday it was quite busy and there was a 10 minute wait to get in, but the food is pretty good, so worth the wait. They definitely don't skimp on flavour in this place! The menu has something for everyone and there are loads of vegan options too if you are that way inclined. Also LOVE that the toilets are gender neutral too - big points for that. The whole meal was an enjoyable experience, although the service (especially after the meal) was very slow and we ended up waiting 30-40 minutes to get "our" waiter's attention to get the bill. I'll definitely go back though, and if you haven't been yet, you should go for your debut katsu curry experience!

I've always ordered online from Wagamama at Highcross but I've never been in there in person until today. Impressed with the service both front of house and the kitchen. I have shellfish allergy and they made sure to cater for my needs which I really appreciated. A lot of varieties on the menu. Food was delicious and quite tasty. Very decent portion size. I'll gladly come here again. Good value for money.

We had a lovely lunch here! Didn’t have to queue, had a nice seat by the window. Celeste served us, she was friendly and welcoming. My partner is GF and they were very accommodating. Food was amazing - would recommend !!

We visited Wagamama’s Leicester on a Friday afternoon when it was fairly quiet. Overall, the service was really good, staff were friendly and attentive, and our food came out hot and quickly. I know Wagamama’s usually bring dishes out as soon as they’re ready, but because it wasn’t busy, our meals arrived around the same time, which was nice. I can imagine that if it’s busier or you’re in a larger group, food might not arrive together, but that’s just the Wagamama style. The food itself was really nice. We had the chicken katsu curry, the tofu firecracker, and the bang bang cauliflower. All were tasty and freshly made. There’s also a great choice of vegetarian options, clearly labelled on the menu, which is appreciated. One thing we did notice after ordering was that another table was told they could scan a QR code to sign up and get a free starter item like edamame or prawn crackers. We weren’t told about this offer when we were seated or at any point during our visit, which was a bit of a shame, as we probably would have taken advantage of it since we were debating whether to get prawn crackers anyway. The restaurant itself was clean and tidy, with plenty of cutlery and condiments already on the table. When we couldn’t finish our food, the staff were happy to provide a takeaway box, which was really handy. Overall, a good visit with tasty food, good service, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Would happily visit again, though it would be great if offers like the QR code deal were mentioned to all customers.
